Sunday—Have A Koshka Week!

A happy ending for Koshka and Staff Sargeant Jesse Knott

Have this kind of a week!

Pretty amazing, right?  Well, this little cat would not have made it out of war-torn Afghanistan had it not been for the bravery of an Afghan interpreter who put his own life at risk and agreed to transport Koshka (wearing a bright purple collar in an American made cat carrier) through Taliban check-points across Afghanistan to Kabul where Sargeant Knott's parents paid almost $3,000 to have him flown to Islamabad, Pakistan, then to New York, then to Portland.

Peace, it appears, rests comfortably in the paws of this feline.
