Looking Back: BART in 1967

Here's a look back at what was going on in our neck of the woods 46 years ago when the massive Bay Area Rapid Transit, a.k.a. BART construction project was underway.  

For those of you who don't live around here, BART provides public transportation between San Francisco and points in the East Bay & northern San Mateo suburbs.  It is the fifth busiest heavy rail rapid transit system in the US.    

It makes me appreciate moving here after it was completed!
