Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore
Serve this classic Italian stew over rice, whole wheat spaghetti, or whole wheat penne pasta. To spice it up, add a couple of dashes of dried pepper flakes at the beginning.
|Brown the chicken|
|For convenience, use pre-sliced white mushrooms|
|Chop fresh bell peppers & sweet onion|
|Use Italian-style canned tomatoes|
|Slow cook on high for 4 to 5 hours|
