Tinting in Lightroom Using Graduated Filters

  • Both pix were first converted to B&W in Lightroom.
  • For the daisy photo below, I created 2 graduated filters in LR_a custom pale yellow & a custom mint green.  The glow was created by adjusting the luminance.
  • Scroll your mouse over the pix to see the before & after fx.

  • For the rose, I created a 2 custom graduated filters in LR_a pale pink & a pale yellow.  The opacity and the angle are adjustable, so it's a super-neat way to add totally custom color to B&W photos.
