Good4U, Good 4The Home—2016 Eagle Nest Cam

Two healthy eaglets live in a nest high up in a Tulip Poplar tree located in the Azalea Collection at the United States National Arboretum.  They are the first nestlings to hatch in this location since 1947.

The First Lady laid her first egg on February 10 and the second on February 14.

The first chick hatched on March 18 and the second chick was born on March 20.

Freedom & Liberty have grown into big, strong, clunky juveniles.  They have not yet fledged.  You can watch them stretch their strong legs and wings, take naps, and be fed by their parents here on the live nest cam >>>
